"I logged the Sierra Mountains for over 40 years. I wasn't in tune with computers at all. But that all changed when my wife and I visited the website of my old Vietnam outfit, the 15th Combat Engineers. There I found the email address of a fellow infantryman I hadn't seen since 1967. I sent off a message and got a response 15 minutes later. 'Where you been? I've been looking for you for forty years?!' That got me hooked. I put together a computer with a web cam, and now Eddie and I can shoot the breeze anytime we want. The 3500 miles between us doesn't mean a thing.
I first discovered LightScribe about a year ago on a trip to the computer store. Being an artist, I saw these discs as a whole new medium. I bought a LightScribe drive and a handful of discs. It took me a couple of days to get the hang of it, but now all my discs have great custom labels. There is no limit to what a person can put on the disc. The sky's the limit! All my spare time is spent working with LightScribe. My daughter calls me a computer geek. Well, if enjoying LightScribe makes a man a geek, I guess I am."
