I'm using Verbatime Lightscribe DVD+R dvd's on new HP pc. i burned pics & videos with no problem. To label the disc & put a pic on it you turn it over & reinsert right? When i did this it said please insert disc. Am i missing a step? This is my 1st attempt at this so maybe i misseda step.

Thanks,

Thomas

The following is a link to the page that explains the required four components to enable Lightscribe labeling. I could be mistaken but from the sound of your problem you may be trying to burn a Lightscribe label in the exact same way you burn data to the other side of the disc and it doesn't work that way.

Thanks for the reply. I ddn't see a link. I went back & found designs but i'm lost as how to put the design on the disc & a picture. I saw one way that said put disc like face up as if i were putting pics on disc, thenanother way said face down. I'm totally confused as well as lost. I need lots of help.

Thanks,

Thomas

I have all software installed & updated. I see the designs, they won't save, can't add text try to burn the design to the disc & i get the message insert disc. I tried that on both sides with the same results. I tried to see if it needed to be formatted on the other side, go the msg. all data will be lost. I know disc is not full, i tried to add another pic. & got the same message. Now my pc freezes if i try to do anything else. I must have a bad drive, software or something. I did run the diagnostic & nothing is wrong.

Thanks,

Thomas
