I have an HP1270 CD/DVD burner. I have the LSS software. I have Nero 9 burning software. I already had HP Lightscribe disks. The HP disks say there is no disk in the drive. I bought a spindle of Memorex disks. they say they can't read the info in the hub. Cleaned them 4 times. Still can't read the hub info and then it says no disk found. This is #$*&^##. The Lightscribe Diagnostic Utility says the drive is working fine. Why doesn't this stuff work?

Memorex is about the only brand I can find.
Of 1st Spindle, all but 1 were recovered.
It had a bad DATA side.
One disk needed 20 cleanings.
No more problems.
Wrote Memorex, but they said no problem!

I've been having the same issue for the last 8 months, I have tried 3 different brands of media, cleaned etc
Diagnostics recognises the media but the LSS will not.
Windows 7 64bit Ultimate
Drive is LITE-ON DVD-RW SHW-16H5S
I am starting to believe lightscribe is completely useless.

Instalei o programa LightScribe... mas não estou conseguindo finalizar a gravação no dvd.... no processo de gravação eu coloco a mídia conforme as instruções.... virada para baixo, tudo certo.... mas depois de 30 segundos aparece uma mensagem que a mídia não foi encontrada. Mídia comprada: (HP LightScribe) Unidade gravadora: (DVD RW AD 7561S OPTIARC AH03)
Windows Vista Home Premium 64 Bits.
Compaq Presario CQ40-314BR) HP.
O que devo fazer? Aguardo um retorno urgente.
