I have many situations where I would like to use the same disc, but still update it from time to time.  For software, it might be updated with the latest version.  For audio books, the discs may be simply numbered 1 thru 14, and each time you download a new book, to still have the labels.

There are many times I have spent some time making the label, and simply want to update the content.

Where do I find LightScribe RW discs?

There are no Lightscribe DVD-RW in production anywhere.  Just +R and -R
If you use Ashampoo Burning Studio you can write to a disc and leave it open to write further data at a later date until the disc is filled up.  The only time Ashampoo will finalise a disc is if the data being written is a movie.

What Roscoe says, although true, may only allow the program doing the writing to read the disk!

When Ashampoo is started there's an option under "burn files & folders" to "update an existing CD/DVD/Blu-ray."  I only use Ashampoo so I'm unaware whether other software (Nero, Roxio, NTI etc) have a similar updating function.  Once a disc is filled up and finalised, the disc can be read by all other software/hardware players, not just by Ashampoo.
