hi folks,

error 1920 trying to load app on win 7 saying insuff. priv.

NO WAY...i've been in the HP forum MS forums - and no one has an answer.

i've run it as administrator - and still it loads to 75% then the error pops up.

I've tried this 7 x -- and it's not working...

CAN SOMEONE FIX THIS?

What app are you trying to install when you get the error? Assuming the "app" is not a corrupted download or contains a check error and the problem does not stem from a corrupted registry try the following:

If you are trying to install a program and get this error try creating a new administrator (named admin 2 or something like that) profile will full access privledges and try the installation. A corrupted or misconfigured profile can act like what you are experiencing. Don't create the new profile by copying the old profile...that method will probably result in the new profile containing the same problem as the original.
