Unfortunately, LS Technology currently only does Grayscale on whatever colored label side is (Memorex sells "Cool Color" Disks in the colors shown in the LS Template Labeler).
I have used:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/browse/-/3023481/ref=tab_m_gw_l
to obtain album cover or to get artwork.
I use this + Custom Template I've developed to make the "USE" copies [which have track lists (I get some of these from the same site)] I actually play, thus saving the originals for remaking copies when I need them.

so if I download the Amazon link you provided, I'm good to go? I need no other software or programs? the color part (or lack of it) doesn't impact me as long as the art is accurate.

You need a program like the FREE LightScribe Template Labeler from this site or a paid program like SureThing.
How I create Labels Containing a Track List
- I've put together some stuff I use to create CD Labels.
- I wrote up the procedure I use in a PDF File.
- I make PDF Files of any Documentation I create.
- I have V1.14.32.1 of the LSS & since Version 1.17.90.1 of both the LSS & the corresponding Diagnostic Utility.
- I include an "Additional Stuff" Folder which contains anything I create while developing My Custom Templates.
- I created ZIP Files for 6 Windows Vista "Right-Click" Directory Commands I developed to support making Track Lists & other procedures I use.
- I "ripped off" the "Template Playlist Beta" (For which LS has NO documentation, NO source, & LAID OFF the Technician) "Full" & "Half" Disk Templates; fixed them; & then create a ZIP File of the two templates.
- I have a PDF that contains "Template vs Simple Labelers" - a comparison of what is the structure of each template.
- I found 6 FREE Tools I use for development, & have more I am testing.
- I have a PDF which contains a "Mini Resume" & a lot of "LightScribe Stuff" I've researched.
- I continually develop PDFs on the Tools I use for development.
- I've developed 301 Custom Templates (in 51 Collections + 6 Private Ones), 108 Images (in 12 Collections), 174 Icons, and 4 Test Background Images for the LS SL.
- I developed 4 Test "borders" for the Simple Labeler.
- I developed a New Custom Wedding Template for one Forum User.
- I developed 11 Custom Templates for 5 other Forum User from Sample Images they provided or Detailed Descriptions.
- I developed 4 Custom Templates which use Circular Text Items & Circular, Oval, & Diamond Shaped Images.
- I developed 6 User Defined Functions in VBA for Excel for Transforms.
- I developed 4 User Defined Functions in VBA for Excel for Circles & Ellipse.
- I developed 11 User Defined Functions in VBA for Excel for Path Data.
- I fixed one LSL File for another User by changing a White Outline of some Text to Black.
- I created Previews of all my Custom Templates & Images & have Mini-Catalogues of both as PDF Files.
- I created 174 ICONS & a PDF Preview.
- I tend to concentrate on Filling the entire disk surface especially with TEXT, Bold, Outline, White Text, & More Font Control.
- I published 14 Newsletters & a List of Newsletter Topics about what I've been doing & 2 other FREE Programs I've been researching.
- I have studied the XML parts of the 2007 Versions of Microsoft Office Access, Excel, & Word.
- I just developed 7 Template Making Tutorials
- I have all this & more in My MS Windows Live Skydrive.
- I am working to develop more Custom Templates.
- I am sharing my work with 267 Forum Users.
Send me a Private MESSAGE containing:
- Your correct E-mail Address (REQUIRED BY SITE to send links & it's NOT included automatically in a Private MESSAGE);
- Your full name (For my records); &
- A nickname you use (For my records).
I am retired on a disability, & I do this TOTALLY FREE.
I also try my best to keep E-mail Addresses confidential. I use "Blind Carbon Copies" when I send out anything.
I only occasionally send out Special Notifications, if I do something major.
The only "COST" is your E-mail Address which is REQUIRED by My Windows Live Skydrive to allow access to the stuff I've developed.

I burned some VHS tapes unto CDs. I down loaded the cover from a cover on Amazon. Why doesn't my photo show up on the copied CD? I don't want to have to download the image to a label, print it out, and then attach the printed label to the CD. I prefer the original art work look on the CDs. I prefer the original artwork on the cover of the CDs. Any recommendations?

To start, follow this link and be sure you understand the Lightscribe labeling process:

No. That Amazon.com link is where you get the album art images. Once you have downloaded the desired image, you then have to bring it into a LightScribe Labeling program, provided you a have everything else needed(see Jim B's post).
