Got Lightscribe Simple Labeler to work 3 times before I got this error.
"An error with the selected LightScribe drive has occurred. Please restart the LightScribe Simple Labeler and try your label again."
"If this error occurs again, please restart your computer (and external LightScribe drive, if you have one), and try your label again."
Restarting doesnt work, updating hasnt helped, firewall exceptions...
Im running Windows XP
Works on my dads computer and hes running Vista.

What do you mean by "firewall exceptions?" Try downloading and running the LDU (Lightscribe Diagnostic Utility) from the Download area of this website...

hi, i've also been having some problems. i'm sure i must be doing something wrong... i've got the updated LSS, the template labeler, the simple labeler and the diag.utility. i've managed to scribe with the simple labeler but cant with the template labeler, it says LSS is not installed... no idea what to do, help
