OS: Windows XP Home edition SP3
Processor: Intel X86 family 15 Model 4 Stepping 3 Genuine Intel 3014 Mhz
Bios: Award Software International Inc F7 (26-09-2005)
Memory 1Gb

External CD/DVD Rewriter (Lightscribe) - LiteOn iHAS220 6 USB device.

Problem. Win32 Error: FunctionHurricanClientProxy::m_ReadPipe]ReadFile failed returned Win32 Error: 234 Description: The semaphore timeout period has expired.

This results in incomplete lightscribe label with banding on printed areas. Also the drive does not permit disc eject after closing lightscribe software.

Lightscribe diagnostic tool indicates all is ok with correct parameters.

Lightscribe internal error code -x1085

I suspect that the data being sent vis the USB port is being interrupted, causing the error? Is there any solution to this problem?
