Hello,
I recently purchased a Lightscribe stand alone duplicator but I am having trouble getting the Lightscribe CD label working. The machine burns CD's great but I don't know how to make the labeling part. I do not have a Lightscribe burner on my computer. I cannot "print" a label from my computer because the Lightscribe CD labeling process I have asks me to select a Lightscribe enabled drive (which I don't have).
Any suggestions would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance.

What brand of duplicator is it? Usually the duplicator manufacturer offers a Lightscribe labeling application that works with their duplicator. (LaCie, etc.) A Lightscribe drive usually does not need to be installed in the host computer as long as you have a Lightscribe enabled duplicator that obtains the label file from the host computer.

Hi Jim,
The one I bought looks like this:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/1-Burner-SATA-Lightscribe-24X-Multiple-DVD-Duplicator-/380354338768?pt=PCC_Drives_Storage_Internal&hash=item588ee29fd0
It did not come with any Lightscribe software.

Contact the EBay seller for specifics. The auction reserves the right to ship any of four brands to the successful buyer. According to the instructions that are in the auction listing the brand shipped may require software that comes with the duplicator but does require a Lightscribe PC burner to produce the duplicated disc from a completed Lightscribe labeled disc, not a saved file on the host PC.

Hi Jim,
Yeah, I didn't see that part of the auction so I guess I need a Lightscribe burner. I am going to go out and buy an external one and hopefully this works.
Thanks for your input.
