I am new to this forum and I searched for any posts regarding Win 7 conflicts but I did not find my particular situation. Ever since I upgraded to Win  7 from Vista, my Lightscribe DVD will not recognize any DVD'S, whether factory or not. Everytime I load a DVD in the tray a message indicating that a DVD needs to be inserted is displayed, when in fact there is already one in the tray. The problem seemed to coincide with the software upgrade, but I don't use it very much so that is an assumption. CD'S seem to work fine on the other hand.

I have upgraded the software from the Lightscribe website and I have run the diagnostic which indicates everything is fine. I have pasted the logs below: any help would be much appreciated.
