Can lightscribe drives read / write normal Discs? Can lightscribe discs be read on non-lightscribe drives?

Hi Paret !

You can read or write regular CDs & DVDs, but you should NEVER put a disk with a stick-on label in the drive.

Doing that could damage the drive, especially if the label peels off.

Ok. But can i read lightscribe discs on normal drives?

YES, other than the Coating on the LABEL side and the LS Marks around the Hub, LightScribe Media has the same structure on the DATA side.

hi, somebody sent me a blank dvd-r and +r, but it seems that the disc is full or empty.  but before i used dvd +rw   but i can transfer and make a collections of pictures and my presentation with music background.  how come is this happening to my software? i am using nero and  SE--s204 writemaster.
