I just bought a Spindle of 16x4.7 DVD from Memorex I burned 3 Discs and then it just stopped working i have updated all the firmware and soft ware and yet it will not let me Scribe a label. in he package it says Media Version 1.2 but i have the latest version do i have to go backwards to scribe my Discs is getting tiresome

I had a problem like that with the first two spindles I bought.
One was HP and the other was Memorex.
I was able to recover all but one of the disks.
It was a Memorex and had a bad DTATA side.
I had to clean the disks even thought they looked clean and smudge free.
One Memorex disks had to be cleaned 3 times with 20 turns of the cleaner before it would work and LABEL.
I especially cleaned the center (hub) where the LS Marks are.
Try some of the other disks first and then try the cleaning on any that don't work.
I can only fined HP and Memorex (mostly Memorex), but if you can find any, try Verbatim or another brand.
