Questions from a new guy on the block

1) Can I burn a whole bunch of labels on blank DVDs, or must I burn data first and then the label?

2) Can I burn a single DVD---then go to a mass production copier ( up to 7 or so at a time) nad then come back and burn the labels on those?

Hi Mick Peterson !

I don't know a lot about the subject, but you should look at the thread about "Duplicators".  I have tried to help one user with a problem generating the Label Image File (LSI) for his Vinpower Duplicator.  Vinpower seems to be the popular supplier from my research.

Let me know , if you have any problems.  I'll try to help, if I can.  I'm not sure of the steps, but I think you can generate the Label Image either before or after burning the DATA.  From my experience just burning single copies, I would recommend doing the Labels first.  It's the touchiest operation.

Yes you can preproduce a whole bunch of lightscribe labeled dvds and then burn the datalater(you can add to  the label after they are burned as well)
No you can't burn a lightscribed labelled dvd then use it as a master in a duplicator but you can use the file created by 'lightscribe template labeler' to write to multiple burners (I use a 12 target) and thus mass produce (sort0f)
