I am using lightscribe Labeler and was doing well but having successfully printed about 6 discs using different colours, suddenly everything is coming out the original gold colour of the disc despite selecting different colours in the Preview and Print Mode, what has gone wrong?

The color disc selection in the print preview is only to visually see the finished result on the color of the disc you have placed in the Lightscribe drive. It does not make a disc you have placed in the drive into a different color.

Thanks Jim B, I have now checked with the friends I gave the CDs I had already done and sure enough, they were all the same original gold colour. I'm getting past it in my old age I think as I could have sworn they came out coloured. I'll have to start taking the tablets again !!!

No worries. I'm at that stage myself....they say the mind is the second thing to go as a person ages...I forget what the first thing is...

Will multiple colors ever be available in lightscribe?

The current LightScribe Technology is like BW Poloroid & a NEW LightScribe Technology needs to be developed to work like the Color Poloroid.
Currently the only color you can do would be to use the disks that have colored LABEL side & do Grayscale "burns" to get darker areas of the LABEL side color & Black (fully "burned").
