Hi
I'm new to this forum and I hope this isn't a duplicate query. I looked for topcs about Roxio Easy Media Creator 8 but didn't see anything posted already.
I got a new computer with LightScribe installed and I already had Roxio Easy Media Creator 8 installed. Seemed like it would work fine, right? But every time I try to print onto the disc, I get an error message - "internal error - please restart media creator". Any suggestions?

Hi Tammy  !
I did a search in the whole Forum and found 28 matches for "Roxio" with one of them being your post.
If you haven't done so, update to the latest version of the LightScribe System Software (LSS) and the Diagnostic Utility (DU).
Also try the latest version of the LightScribe Template Labeler if you can and try it and see what it does.
The problem you describe could be a failing Read/Write Diode (very unlikely for a new drive, but not impossible) or it could be bad media.
The DU might help find out what it is.
