Burner: HP 940i  --worked in the XP machine
Nero  cover designer version  2.10.1.1 Downloaded upgrade yestersay
OS: Vista (SP1)
RAM: 2 GB

Problem:
I can not burn lightscribe disk.
I downloaded latest stuff from Lightscribe, hoping that it would auto imbed in Nero. Nothingness
I ripped out Nero, then reinstalled newest version, still nothingness regarding lightscribe.

When I go file print, I have my laser printer, Microsoft XPS printer and add printer listed. If I click "add printer" it autosearches for a USB device, not the internal IDE cable on the DVD burner.

Any suggestion is welcome.

The problem you describe has been identified on different versions of Nero Cover Designer. Nero recently released an update that resolves the issue for Nero 8 but not for Nero 7.

If your application was working properly before and the problem started after you downloaded an update, you may try to uninstall and reinstall Nero from the original installation disc. This has corrected the problem for most users.

If the LightScribe drive is not detected, the option to burn LightScribe will not be enabled in the menus in Nero Cover Designer.
