LightScribe Forum : Duplicators : Lightscribe Templet Design

I need to be able to create custom label designs rather than use those downloaded. I can use the standard downloadable templets and everything works fine to print on the multi-disc duplicator. The lsi file is saved to the multi-disc duplicator and then printing takes place.

We need to make appropriate labels for different church recordings and none downloadable are usable. I can design labels on different label software but none will import into the lightscribe software. It asks for a .psd file to import but a file designed in alternate software exported in psd format won't import. It says it isn't in templet format. Is there any software which can make templet designs importable into the lightscribe program?

Thanks

This is too much trouble for a lay person like a secretary to do. I'm
sure it is the manufacture of the duplicator's poor design. The
lightscribe software downloadable from here is too basic and limits one
to only using their predesigned templates, none of which aren't
applicable for our needs. Maybe if they redesign the software to
enhance the creativity of the user; it will probably take care our
needs.

I use various label design software which will print labels on lightscribe discs; I like lightscribe.

Do you need to work with a saved template? Can't you import a saved label? Don't forget you can use a created background ( as a 1200x1200 jpg) and insert it in a blank label template as an image. The project can then be saved as a label.
