LightScribe Forum : Drives : Labelers Suddenly Stopped printing

I have 2 labelers from different companies. I have had them for about a year, never had any problem. 2 days ago, one of the labellers started printing extremely pale, then, nothing at all. I tried the other one, nothing either. I have a mac, I have updated both the lightscribe labeller and the lightscribe software, nothing... I have a Mac OS X 10.5.8

Well, I found the problem... I was using DVD+R and switched to CD -R... I just tried a DVD+R and it worked...

Out of curiosity what brand of CD-R Lightscribe enabled discs did you use? Were they relatively fresh and/or sealed? (less than a year or two old?)
