LightScribe Forum : Installation : Error 1920 and more! Hi all!
I'm using Lightscribe template labeler on the last version and I did many dvd with no problem.
But yesterday, when i tried to write a dvd, I could not
Not sure if before I was asking about a new version but now I have the latest of all (LigthScribe_Update_1.18.18.1_ and LightScribeTemplateLabeler_1.18.15.1) but when I open the program to write a label, it starts to install newly the service Lightscribe and I only obtain the error 1920.
I run the application as administrator, I have framework 4 (last version), I tried all the day searching on the net the various suggestion, but I can only switch from error 1920 to error 1053 ("Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion")







Now I DON"T have any Lightscribe service but I cannot install the LS_Update_1.18.18.1_.exe: at the same point as before (see my first screenshot) I get error 1920.
I've tried to install from desktop, from C:, install as Administrator: nothing!!

But It was working until yesterday and I cannot find a solution.
Please help me

I think it's impossible that anyone have a solution. I did a completely cleanup for all lightscribe "files", in the register too and I tried to reinstall this LS_Update_1.18.18.1_.

All goes well until the "starting services" and then I have the usual popup Error 1920.

So none of my to Lightscribe writer can be recognized and so nor Nero cover designer neither the Lightscribe labeler can print .

Is there any support from LSS?

]]> Wed, 01 Sep 2010 13:53:33 GMT What changed? During the time when your computer stopped printing LightScribe, what else did you install? what else did you uninstall? Something caused your computer to not like LightScribe.

Once upon a time, I installed an old video game that was made for Windows XP. But I installed it on Windows 7. MY computer didn't like that and started malfunctioning.

So, figure out what else you did around that time and undo it.
