I have been having issues with lightscribe over the past few days, it will not print the full image onto the disk, only about 1/3 to 1/2 half of the image. I have tried three different software programs, lightscribe template labeler, nero, and cyberlink. I have tried cleaning the disk with a no-lint dry cloth, sprayed air in the drive to clean out dust, ran a lens cleaner disk and I am still producing the same result. I ran the lightscrive diagnostic utility and it states there are no errors. I am using Windows 7 Professional 64bit, and an Atapi DH16A6L Drive, and Memorex DVD+R 16X discs.

Hi, my laptop was on its cooler base, and was leaning. I removed the cooler and put my laptop straight on the desk. With the straight drive, the disc is printed perfectly

First, uninstall anything Nero, just in case (some times its the problem). Then look at the bar-code area of your LightScribe disc. Is it dirty? Does it look like there are manufacturer's defects?

If the bar-code are a is dirty, clean it.

If it is defective, retun it and get a new package of LightScribe discs.
