I downloaded and tested Disc Cover 2.3.1 (the latest I could find) from BeLightsoft.com and it worked fine with the 1.18.6.1 software.

I suspect that the lightscribe software update was corrupted, uninstall the lightscribe software and remove the lightscribe package from /Library/Receipts and reinstall the 1.18.6.1 software.

Lightscribe Software version 1.8.16.1 was in good working order.

I used a PC to upgrade the firmware of the DVD-Drive to:
TSSTcorp CDDVDW SE-S224Q (couldn't be done with a Mac !!!???)

- Firmware Revision:	TS02 (newest) 10-7-09

The Lightscribe process did take a while but was finished in about 19 minutes (Full Label - Best quality)

Thanks for your help....A. van de Kolk
