Hi 99igor !

I gave up on Nero 8.

I use the LS Template Labeler to do LABELS on the drive built-in to my printer.

At the same time, I use either Nero 9 or Vista's Burn Feature to do DATA on the drive built-in to my Notebook PC. Yes I did upgrade for other reasons!

I prefer the LS TL because, unlike every other Labeling program it uses XML and not a proprietary file format.

I have developed 105 Custom Templates which I share with 82 people (13 are family).

		I
was having the same issue when I first installed a Lite-On ihas422
drive. After much reasearch it was suggested that if I had updated my
chipset drivers, I should reinstall the drivers that came with my
motherboard "GigaByte M61P-S3 with an NVIDIA chipset. After I installed
the original drivers that came with the board all is working perfectly.
Have burned Data and Labels on both CDR and DVD media with both NERO8
and Lightscribes free Template Labler without any problems. Hope this
heads you in the right direction to resolve your problem.

Please restart your computer and try your label again. (4231)

If anyone nows how to fix this problem please post a answer in the forum.

I was getting the "An internal error occurred" message when trying to print a disc label. I am using an ASUS motherboard with the GeForce 8300 chipset, and a Lite-On iHAS422-08 drive. NVIDIA recently posted an update to their motherboard drivers. The new NVIDIA motherboard drivers (including a new SATA driver) cured the problem.
