Hello again runner !

Thanks! I'm glad you mentioned the software installation info.

For some reason, Anti-Virus programs have been known to cause some problems.

If yours asked to delete a module or trust it, it may have caused the problem if the answer was to do the delete.

You have to get to know all the software you use.

I use McAfee and once it came up with a module that was used by my Anti-spyware Program. I chose the "Trust" option. If I had allowed the deletion of the module, the Anti-spyware Program would probably stopped working.

Turning Norton off may not work. The damage may have been done already.

Most "Pre-Installed" Software Packages are Trial Copies installed to allow you to try the program and BUY the Full Version. It usually doesn't come with any support from the MANUFACTURER.

Express Labeler 2 comes from either SONIC or SureThing. Unless you have the disk it came on, I don't think you can fix the error.

If you have a disk, you can try re-install it.

Other than that I don't know what else I could recommend.

Reggie is correct about it, it's a part of SureThing.

I searched my main disk and found tithe following two references:

dwwin.dll

SureThing CD Labeler 5 (C:\Program Files (x86))

Print Server (C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\SureThing Shared)

But lightscribe was installed (not a trial version) and I used it for over a year, now its totally un-useable and a waste of my time trying to find out how to fix it. You would think ONE of those companies upon knowing that there is a problem with many users, would come up with a handy little downloadable fix.

I thank everyone for their help, it was more information than I could get from any of the above well know companies.

Guess I will have to pay a tech if I want to use something I paid for because those companies can't fix something they know is wrong. You can bet I will think twice about purchasing the product ever again. Not to mention referring it to anyone.

Sorry about the multiple posts, apparently the forum is having problems too.

Anyhow I solved my problem. Express labeler is out the door, Sonic-Roxio will not be used.

I downloaded Lightscribe template labeler, along with several other templates so I have a variety to choose from and it works perfectly. I don't have as many options with this software but at least it works......

Some of these sites should specify "several types of software will work"....I thought I had to use express labeler 2.....

Anyhow thanks for the help from all of you. Sorry I was ranting in above posts, but was totally frustrated.

I just burned a disk with my own pictures and it's GREAT. Thank You Lightscribe.........

Maybe you can use what I made.

I've made similar posts on other threads.

How I create Labels Containing a Track List

I've put together some stuff I use to create CD Labels.

I wrote up the procedure I use in a PDF File.

I make PDF Files of any Documentation I create.

I include an "Additional Stuff" Folder which contains anything I create while developing My Custom Templates.

I created ZIP Files for 6 Windows Vista "Right-Click" Commands I developed to support this and other procedures I use.

I "ripped off" the "Template Playlist Beta" ''Full" and "Half" Disk Templates; fixed them and create a ZIP File of the two templates.

I have a PDF that contains "Template vs. Simple Labelers" - a comparison of what is the structure of each template.

I have found 5 FREE Tools I use for development.

I have a PDF which contains a "Mini Resume" and a lot of "LightScribe Stuff" I've researched.

I have developed 107 Custom Templates for the Template Labeler.

I have developed 5 collections of Images.

I have developed a New Custom Wedding Template for one Forum User and I did one for another Forum User a long time ago.

I have created Previews of all my Custom Templates and Images and have Catalogues of both as PDF Files.

I have developed 4 Test "borders" for the Simple Labeler.

I tend to concentrate on Filling the entire disk surface especially with TEXT, Bold, Outline, White Text, and More Font Control.

I have all this and more in My MS Office Live Workspace.

76 Forum Users have taken my offer.

Send me a Private MESSAGE containing:

Your correct E-mail Address (Required to send links);

Your full name (For my records); and

A nickname you use (For my records).

I am retired on a disability, and I do this TOTALLY FREE.

I also try my best to keep E-mail Addresses confidential. I use "Blind Carbon Copies" when I send out anything.

I only occasionally send out Special Notifications, if I do something major.

The only "COST" is your E-mail Address which is REQUIRED by MS Office Live Workspace to allow access.
