Hello Lightscribe Developement Team,

I am requesting a new package for the linux community

it is a source package with binary blobs (the nvidia way )

this way the intelectual properties if Lightsribe/HP are in the binary blobs[1] and the sources are only wrappers around the blob.

Lightscribe is compiled on the target distribution and links in the binary blobs.

the package should also contain blobs for x86 x86_64 ...

plz hold the blob as small as possible and don't depend on specific versions of system libraries ( and if they are needed the abstract them with glue code )

if you consider creating such a package also create a more friendly license that also allows distributing/mirroring this package and the output of such a build

plz dont point me to the sdk
this request has nothing to do with the sdk its about run/link errors of the provided binary
this request should reduce the dependency on specific versions of libraries

if this is not the right place for the request plz point me to the right

sincerely yours
Mario Fetka

[1] i think there would be 2 blobs one for HP's graphic output algorithem and one for the firmwares
