Hey all,

I bought 2 LG GH22LS40 drives to use inside a Mac Pro 2009 model but can't get them to work. It hit me when I looked at the side of the box and saw that only Windows was supported. The drives worked as I used one to load Lightscribe software from a CD but when I tried to use the software; it found no 'Lightscribe supported drives'.

I can't seem to find any OSX drivers for this model of drive; anyone know where else I can look? I've tried LG's site and Googled it. I am correct in assuming I need drivers to get this to work?

And does anyone know of internal SATA drives that would work in OSX?

Thanks!

Hi ,
     I pulled apart a Mac
Pro for the same reason, the original drive was a Pioneer drive so that
is what I replaced it with a LightScribe Pioneer drive. I don't have
the system anymore but it was a good drive for LightScribe labeling.

This looks like the same model:
FRYS.com #: 5509910
PIONEER 20X INTERNAL DVD-/+RW DRIVE w/ LIGHTSCRIBE DVD BURNER
