I'm using a simple template in the Lightscribe Template Labeler that has two 180° arcs in which to print text. About half the time, instead of the text printing, I get two bars on the disk the size, shape, and width of the two print areas ... but no text.
If I print on the same CD again, that usually works.
Is there a solution for this problem? Do I need an upgrade to the software? I'm running version 1.18.5.1.

The current version of the LSS, the DU, & the TL is 1.18.22.2

My LIghtscribe Template Labeler says it's 1.18.22.2, yet I'm still having this problem about half of the time or more.

The on-again off-again nature is odd, usually the labeling works or flat out does not.
My first recommendation is to update the Lightscribe system software too, sometimes that works.
The versions are not required to match to label but it should not make it worse.
