Hy,
My LightScribe was doing well until a week ago. Now everytime I try to print a Label I click start and it goes thru the process but finishes in about 10 seconds telling its done and ejects the media with a blank label.
EVERYTIME it ends with a blank label, and EVERYTIME it reports a successfull printing. The same issue is going on with Nero and LightScribe Template Labaler software.
I tried media change and checked if the software drivers are up to date. Also updated LightScribe Control Panel and everything related to this process... No success...
My LS drive is a LG BD-RE H10LS30.
Computer is an i7-960 with 12GB ram running on win7 64-bit.
Any help?

Your model # is BH10LS30.
It's much harder to find without the 'B'.

Printing Blank Labels
Have tried printing labels. Goes through the process of printing but
disks come out blank. LS diagnostics recognizes the drive and disks.
Disk information:
Memorex
Hadware:
HP Pavilion Slimline s7620n
Windows XP sp3
TSSTcorp drive TSH652L
Firmware 803
ls version 1.18.24.1
Lightscribe software has been uninstalled and reinstalled. Have tried LS Express label and Roxio labeler.
I go through the process of designing a simple text only label,
insert disk label side down, diagnostic software recognizes drive and
media, acts like it is printing disk light blinks and "burns" for the
listed time and opens blank. Drive will record data but will not print
label. Any suggestions?

Got the same problem. I insert the lightscribe media, press print, the printing starts and finishes in cca. 10 sec. The media is ejected and "printing successful" message appears, but the media is blank - no recording took place.
Have tried with Lightscribe Template Laberer, SureThing and Droppix. All the same. I did also tried with some older drivers i found on the internet and no go..
Any help?

Hi Guys !
I just retrieved a CD that has been under the sofa for several months.
I cleaned it up & tried to put a label on it, but it came out blank.
I re-cleaned it with an LCD wet wipe & tried again & this time it worked!
I have ALWAYS just re-cleaned a disk (even NEW ones) & it has ALWAYS WORKED!
I have done well over about 150 labels & it has ALWAYS worked!
This is the only thing I've found works.

I FIXED the problem by inserting the DVD-RW's SATA cable into another SATA port on the motherboard. Now it works ok!
For the guys experiencing this problem i suggest doing this.. maybe it is a port/connection thing.
