I am looking for some new ideas on trying to fix an error I am receiving when trying to install Lightscribe Simple Labeler 1.18.15.1 on Windows 7 Ultimate x32. I am gettting the following error:

"Error reading setup initialization file"

There is no error code. Just that message and the installation exits.  I was able to intall LS Update 1.18.20.1 with no issues.  I can install Lightscribe Template labeler fine. I have all the latest Microsoft patches. I have deleted the install exe's and re-downloaded from lightscribe.com and still get the same failure. Downloaded exe's from alternate site, cnet, and still problem persists. I have uninstalled all lightscribe products and tried reinstall again and same failure. Nero 9 was installed on this machine but was removed prior to second install attempt.

I have searched extensively and cannot find any solutions. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
