I done about a dozen discs so far with the LightScribe hardware/software. It did work fine.
I done 4 discs tonight. The first two worked good. My last 2 discs, the image was only slightly burned in the inside (start) of the disc and faded to nothing (no Image).
This was done with the same pack of discs the previous successful discs were done with.
Seems like the Lightscribe unit in my lap top has crapped out.
A real bummer, Chad.

Hmm... double check the inner ring of the disc, the part with all the shiny reflective bar-code stuff. If that section is dirty, the drive will not be able to read where to burn the image.
Some report that inner ring to be dirty and that cleaning with a damp cloth fixes it.
Others report disc defects. If that's the case, return it to the place you purchased it and get a new stack of discs.
