LightScribe Template Labeler
Template Link to Excel Fields?
Hi Charlie !
I would be interested in helping you out.
I have don't a lot of work with Excel 2007 and Windows "Right-Click" Directory Commands and just recently made a "Right-Click" Function to transfer "TreeSize" Information into an Excel Workbook. I would like to get more details of what you're looking for.
What follows is what I have worked on.
I've just finished the Excel Workbook Function and used Excel to design 4 more Custom Templates.
How I create Labels Containing a Track List
I've put together some stuff I use to create CD Labels.
Send me a Private MESSAGE containing:
I am retired on a disability, and I do this TOTALLY FREE.
I also try my best to keep E-mail Addresses confidential. I use "Blind Carbon Copies" when I send out anything.
I only occasionally send out Special Notifications, if I do something major.
The only "COST" is your E-mail Address which is REQUIRED both My MS Office Live Workspace and My Windows Live Skydrive to allow access to the stuff I've developed.
I just found out that:
If an Editor or Viewer forwards their E-mail "Invitation" to someone else, that person can use the link in the sharing "Invitation" to view a read-only version of my content.

Hello again Charlie !
I have a Trial Version of SureThing and a Licensed Version of MS Office Excel 2007.
I did a little playing around with both.
The last trial was the easiest to do, and I might try something with Access.
I find Copy and Paste using a TXT File to be the easiest way to get thing into the LS Template Labeler.
My Windows "Right-Click" Directory Commands have been a BIG help to do just that.
You always seem to have to move the Imported text to suit your own taste with anything you use.
I did experiment with Access.
I'll probably see what can be done beyond converting to Text.
Well, I did a little more experimenting with Access and the Avery add-in I got from their website.
The Avery add-in will take the fields and put them on one of their forms, but I couldn't see any way of getting them into the LS Template Labeler.
I couldn't find a label form that looked like one for a CD/DVD, but if you could find one, maybe a stick-on label would be a better solution.
Remember, you can't put a disk with a stick-on label into an LS Drive. It could cause serious damage.
