Hello Hello I've basically given up on a successful install of LightScribeTemplateLabeler_1.17.90.1 (For now I have to settle on the Easy Template Maker) I've done EVERYTHING including ALL the LS updates and Windows Installer 4.5 Please ask about this What I'd like to know is; How do I get the Bundled Package of Nero 6.6.0.8 to print straight to Light Scribe Media??? OR Is there a Neato version software that will work with this LG GH22LP 20 ??? I'm totally familiar with Neato version 5 (I use it all the time), but this version won't recognize the LG DVD Drive, or rather WON'T print to it Thanx

Hi Jimmy Boy !
I have LLS & DU V1.18.3.2; TL V1.17.90.1; SL V1.17.19.1; LS Template Playlist Beta; and Nero 9.
I use the TL to burn Labels and Nero or Vista to burn Data or Music.
I don't know about what version of Neato recognizes LS (I used it a long time ago.), but I just upgrades Nero from 8 to 9 and 8 or newer of Nero recognizes LS.

Hey Hey
Man I tell ya this stinks! Windows Stinks! Never had this trouble wth my Mac...
I still CAN'T get Nero to print on Light Scribe - I tried everything
What the heck does the 'Extras' tab do? Nothing! There's nothing to click on ... Nothing that says create Light Scribe Disc - only the option to print to Epson Printer. Believe me ..
Have I tried to make sure the drive is recognized? Yes it is..And the Service is Turned On ...
Long story short, the ONLY way I was able to get any form of Light Scribe software to install was to first get that darn 4.5 installer put in, then I used this link supplied from another person here; http://template.software.informer.com/
At least this enabled Light Scribe Software BUT, this program is NOT as advanced as the Nero Label Software
I'll call Neato next week and see if they have any downloads compatible for Light Scribe. Neato would also be more advanced than this stupid Light Scribe Labeling software

Hello again Jimmy Boy !
Like I said before, I don't know much about versions of Nero before 8.
I don't have an "Extras" tab and I don't think 8 had it either.
I think the oldest version I ever used was Version 5, and I don't remember if it had it or not.
The only other thing that are required for LS is .NET V2.0 or higher and the latest copy of the C++ Run-time Library.

hello i do not know if this helps, but it looks like you've got an lg burner. I too have one, an external i bought because my internal tho it's geat did not have lightscribe (shortsighted on my part) have you thought of calling lg support? 1-800-243-0000. i have a slim dvd burner gp 08 and it is rather finicky also. it came with nero software, which i never installed because i read on other sites that it is quite difficult if you have other software that might conflict. I read some comments that they ended up uninstalling becasue it was such a nuisance. Rather than installing more, perhaps uninstall the nero and re-install only the lightscribe software. I don't know what neato is, i can't help there. good luck, gmt

Hi Guys !
I used Neato back when all it did was design and print the apply-able labels.
I think like a lot of vendors, they added LS Support.
I use the LS Template Labeler for the labels and I've used Nero 8 for the data.
I've upgraded to Nero 9.
The only problems I've had was Nero refusing to burn the data and having to use the "built-in" burner that is part of Vista.
Both LightScribe and Nero are co-existing fine on my system, and I also have a NVIDIA GeForce Chipset.
