Hi!

I have been looking all over for Lightscribe CD-r and DVD-r that has the burning surface in a different colour than the usuall blueish. Preferbly Black but silver or something else would work.

Any suggestions?

Hi abstract !

Several media manufacturers offer 5 color disks - Blue, Yellow, Red, Green, and Gold in addition to the "Standard" Bronze.

The LightScribe Technology basically produces Black by burning the coated surface of the LightScribe media (identified by the "swoosh" on the wrapper) in the full range of grayscale.

Don't be fooled by White "Printable" media, meant for use in Inkjet Printers.

I can only find Memorex and HP media.  Both Bronze and Colored. You can typically find other brands on the web.  It tends to be the main source of large spindles of single color disks.
