I was wondering if it is possible to create a new label using the LightScribe SDK and then programmatically open the label using the Template Labeler or Simple Labeler. In the past we have been able to do this using the Nero Cover Designer, but Nero appears to have abandoned their SDK so we are considering alternatives. thanks

Hi rgillis !
This may be a little off target, but you sound like you might be interested. I posted this on another thread.
Topic: How I create Labels Containing a Track List
I've put together some stuff I use to create CD Labels.
- I wrote up the procedure I use in a PDF File.
- I created ZIP Files for 5 Windows Vista "Right-Click" Commands that are used in that procedure.
- I "ripped off" the "Template Playlist Beta" ''Full" and "Half" Disk Templates; fixed them and create a ZIP File of the two templates.
- I have a PDF that contains "Template vs. Simple Labelers" - a comparison of what is the structure of each template.
- I have all this and more in My MS Office Live Workspace.
- I have developed 104 Custom Templates for the Template Labeler.
- I have developed 4 Test "borders" for the Simple Labeler.
- 38 Forum Users have taken my offer.
Send me a Private MESSAGE containing:

thanks for the reply cimofj2. I was able to modify one of the standard templates and get it working to suit our needs.

Hello again rgillis !
I hope this doesn't get posted twice!
Another Forum member (MS) had a question about licensing, in paticular Linux. He had a LightScribe Drive that he mounted in a case with a USB connector. He wanted to have multiple computers be able to use the drive. I'm not sure what his exact concern was. I was also a little confused if he was saying the other computers were going to use Linux with the LSS installed on each or if he wanted to put the LSS on a Linux server.
