 I have bought a new pc With windows Xp and a Light Scribe Writer, But My U-Lead Movie Factory 5 does not see the writer

Hi,
   Can you open the LightScribe Control Panel and see the LightScribe drive?
If you don't have the "LightScribe Direct Disc Labeling" group you need to install the LightScribe system software update.

Hi Sois !

Make sure you have the most

Current Versions:

  • LightScribe Software 1.18.2.1
  • Diagnostic Utility       1.18.2.1
  • Template Labeler      1.17.90.1
  • Simple Labeler          1.17.90.1

Three points:

  1. Clean the label surface before burning;
  2. Use latest versions of all software; and
  3. Try the Template Labeler, if you're not using it.
