Hi Lee !

This website has both "tutorials" and videos of how to use LS.

Unfortunately this Forum will show some of the problems that people have trying to use the technology.

Hey Lee - Welcome to the community! I"ve been using LightScribe for a few years. I use an external drive on my HP Laptop. I've been going to their website a long time and they seem to be removing some of the forms I've used to send a question. But they do have alot of info on the website. Use the "toolbox" and the knowledge base. I found some information that helped me there. You can go to: http://www.lightscribe.com/support/kb_view.aspx?faqid=67 to see how you can tell if you have LS on your computer. You need to have LightScribe discs and the LD software to label. You can download free software from the downloads section. It's a great technology, just be patient and read through the info and you'll be scribing in no time!

Hi Folks !

I may be partially responsible for that.

I suggested the the Forum needed a bit of consolidation because some people were making the identical post on several threads.

Also, I suggested that a lot of what was being posted on the Forum was basically the same information sent to new people.

I guess in a way, the creation of the LS Toolbox and the Knowledge Base was the result of "my gripes" to Support.

BOY!  They shrunk the Forum to one screen in just the time it took to write the above!
