Hi Mark Gaber !

I'm not sure this will work, but you might try copying the symbol from the Character Map progrwm and paste it into the place you want it.

Anyway that is what I'd try!

Hope it works!

HI Mark!

I just tried what I suggested and the "shortcut key".

What I suggested WORKS!!!

©

I just did it in this message.

The "shortcut key" (Alt+0169) does NOT work!!!

©

It DOES work here, however.  I just did it above!!!

OK!!!!!

It seems the characters changes somehow here also!!!  I re-edited this message when I saw it!!!

HI Mark!

I just tried what I suggested and the "shortcut keys".

What I suggested WORKS!!!

™ ¢ £ © ® ° ± ² ³ ¼ ½ ¾ ∞ ≈ ≠ ≤ ≥ ∑ ∆ №

All of the characters above were copied from the Character Map into a Word 2007 document and then into The Template Labeler.

The "shortcut keys" do NOT work!!!

Arial Font produces large characters like the ® , but Calibri produces a smaller superscript character.

If you need to use special characters, the Character Map seems to be the place to go.

This has been a very interesting experiment!!!

Hope everyone who sees this likes it!!!

I have been trying to do this, but the software I am using (Lightscribe Template labeler, has no paste feature that I can find. What do I do?

I use Lightscribe Template Labeler and I have a "paste" function. (Right click and select "paste" from the dropdown) Maybe the symbol has to be copied to the clipboard first....that's the sequence I always have used....

Hello again Mark & Holy Word /WorkArea/threadeddisc/emoticons/cool.png !

What I said before goes for the Template Labeler, which I use exclusively & for which I develop Custom Templates!

Yeah I use the Character Map in Word to get the copyright character in my document and then I use Ctrl+C to copy it. And when I am in the LightScribe Template Labeler, I use Ctrl+V to paste.

It works!

Hi dman  !

In Word, you can use Insert Symbol [Alt+N M] & find the symbol you want!
