I don't understand ... i've been using lightscribe for years and was in the middle of burning my 8th dvd for the day and when i went to print it gave me this message: "LightScribe error: An internal error occurred. Please restart the software application." I've tried restarting, unplugging my external dvd burner, and downloaded a current version of lightscribe. still getting it. please help asap! have to get these dvds to clients tomorrow! thanks so much! Also I use Nero.

Is there an error number or address reference shown? You could try downloading and installing the Lightscribe Template Labeler as a diagnostic test. If that program works correctly it might be some problem with the Nero application. You might try Nero tech support for assistance. There also may be a background program running that is interfering with the Lightscribe function. Do you remember adding or changing any program recently that may be a cause of this behavior?

Another thing to remember is any Automatic Updates you allow.
On most software, I enable Notification ONLY & do the Update when I want.
This way it doesn't occur while I am working on something; I know when the change gets done; & I download most stuff & keep back copies so I can rollback a change!

I hate Nero! I think it is a crappily written program when it comes to working with LightScribe.
But to be objective you could uninstall everything that is Nero and then trying to burn a LightScreibe label to see if it is or isn't Nero's fault.
